One Red Thread, a tribute to Blind Pilot

I've been listening to Blind Pilot like mad over the last year or so,
Not sure why sometimes a band sticks with you...
One of my favorite songs is One Red Thread.
I had this image in my head and it transformed into earrings.
I love when I can pinpoint inspiration! It's rare.

I added a bit of outer space to the photo in a secondary tribute to the grandeur of SPACE.
When I live to be 300 I'll wear these earrings and explore the universe with my little dog Kep who will be 2100 years old by then...

BIKE FRESH Farmers Market Ride

On the First Saturday of every month, those of us who love to get out and see the morning sun will meet up in Lafayette's beautiful Parc Sans Souci, downtown, @ 9am to bike together to the Hub City Farmers Market in the Oil Center.
This ride will take place once a month and will be a one-way ride.
I will, of course, ride back from the market around 10 am or so and back to the parc and everyone is welcome to join me!

Once we get to the market, please stop by the table of Acadiana Food Circle (AFC) and pick up some inforamtion about all the area vendors!  Then, shop those producers!  AFC will be putting together a free local food directory as well as a website of farm maps and local food info.
Don't forget water, your hat, your re-usable and bike friendly market bags, as well as your cash!
Yeah local!
